About Stevens Point Brewery: Frank Wahle and Gerge Ruder established Stevens Point Brewery in 1857. Over the years Stevens Point Brewery has provided product to troops during the Civil War, produced beverages during 1920 Prohibition, survived the Great Depression while many other breweries closed and ultimately launched their first root beer in 2002.
