Very prompt delivery!!
I could not be happier. I place an order and it’s delivered promptly. My favorite soda and it’s very hard to find in glass bottles.
Best flavor for my taste in a ginger ale and glass bottles do not corrupt that taste.
Read on for clarification of the title.
Vernors in longneck glass bottles is a far superior beverage to what's found in cans, if only because of the use of sugar, rather than HFCS, as its sweetener (hence the rating). I'm very happy to have found it at Beverages Direct and will continue to purchase it (free shipping on two cases of soda is an incentive). HOWEVER, to those in a certain age range, my own included, this is NOT the Vernors we grew up with in Detroit. Remember the "smoke" tickling your nose when you opened the bottle? That "burny-hot" bite tempered just a little by vanilla? The unique fizziness? Gone--in fact, the root beer I bought with the Vernors has "smoke," but not Detroit's own "golden." To those who came later to Vernors (and therefore don't know any better), this emasculated version is "da bomb," and indeed it's better than what's in cans. IOW, regardless of your age, this really IS as good as it gets. But many of us know that it falls short of what used to be, courtesy of Keurig Dr Pepper. Regardless, drink it straight, make a Boston Cooler, or try a "Detroit Egg Cream" (delicious, recipes for both found online). It's a unique, delicious beverage. I just wish it were still being produced and bottled, its original apostrophe and full-bodied flavor intact, on Woodward Ave.
