Beverage Review:
 When Henry Holt, a young entrepreneur, stopped by a local Deli to try their “all natural” soft drinks one late spring
morning…he wasn’t pleased with what he discovered. Deciding the sodas being served were sub-standard, he set
out to create his own high quality soda.
That summer, he made the first batch of Naturale 90. The unique name comes from the fact that his drinks used fructose 90, and a high quality corn product, in leiu of high fructose corn syrup.
By the end of the first summer Henry’s new soft drink had gotten great reviews in the New York Times and many
small distributors were widening his sales area.
The next year, a large European distributor wanted to exclusive rights to the drinks. Henry, however, was
appreciative to the small distributors who had given him his start. He set to made an agreement that would allow
large and small distributors to move his product, and the large distributor was so impressed by his ethics they
reached an amicable agreement.
Today, Naturale 90 has done away with the original fructose 90 and each drink is made with pure cane sugar.
Several flavors are available.
