In 1990 The Thomas Kemper Brewing Company during it annual Oktoberfest in Poulsbo, Washington introduced it first batch of hand crafted Thomas Kemper Root Beer for the kid attendees. With the excitment from this great tasting root beer the Thomas Kemper Soda Company was formed. With limited marketing funds the Thomas Kemper company proceed to use grass roots marketing to promote their new root beer.
Although Thomas Kemper Brewery was purchased back in 1992 the soda company remained independent. Deciding to make its mark Thomas Kemper Sodas lands in the Guinness Book of World Records for creating the largest root beer float by combining Thomas Kemper root beer to 900 gallons of ice cream.
In 1997 Pyramid Breweries unites the two Thomas Kemper companies through an aquisition. Although all was well a small group of soda lovers decided to buy Thomas Kemper sodas from Pyramid Breweries in 2007 and continued making the best tasting premium sodas in the marketplace.
in 2008 Thomas Kemper Soda Company reformulated all their sodas to include pure cane sugar which brings you up to date with Thomas Kemper. Enjoy a Thomas Kemper soda today!
