Iron Horse Root Beer has a strong, yet smooth, licorice flavor. While it is flavored with corn syrup, it doesn't have the syrupy consistency that many generic brands of root beer are plagued with. Instead, it has a smooth birch flavor that will quench both the casual root beer drinker and the root beer connoisseur alike. Overall, this root beer is definitely tasty enough to be worthy drinking often. It could use some minor adjustments (perhaps areal sugar base), but it is definitely one of the higher quality root beers out there.
