Olde Rhode Island Molasses Root Beer is made from an old New England recipe and bottled by the Empire Bottling Works using artisan spring water and 100% pure cane sugar. This root beer has a very dark and rich flavor from sassafras and molasses that is heavier than a lot of root beers and almost syrupy. Hints of vanilla and wintergreen are also present which add a creamy complexity to it. It is well carbonated which gives a sharp bite when drank from the bottle directly or even when poured. It finishes with a creamy wintergreen aftertaste.
