History of Frostie Root Beer:
Frostie Root Beer has in interesting start that dates back to 1939 when George Rackensperger began his root beer adventure when he opened his own soda bottling plant. In a suburb located outside of Baltimore, Georger rented an abandoned jailhouse and started his bottling producing operation in the garage area that used to be used for police wagons. This sole bottling plant of The Frostie Company supplied all of the soda demand for Frostie Root Beer until demand increased beyond the capabilities of this plant.

Over the next decade Frostie Root Beer continued to grow and was being enjoyed in a majority of the states with the assistance of franchised bottlers. Soon Frostie was a national franchised beverage company. Although there are a few few bottlers who still produce Frostie Root Beer they vary in their use of sweeteners.
