Frostie Root Beer

Frostie Root Beer

Description

Frostie Root Beer is a classic root beer whose recipe dates back to 1939.

  • Made with Pure Cane Sugar
  • Nostalgic soda
  • Long neck bottles

History of Frostie Root Beer:
Frostie Root Beer has in interesting start that dates back to 1939 when George Rackensperger began his root beer adventure when he opened his own soda bottling plant. In a suburb located outside of Baltimore, Georger rented an abandoned jailhouse and started his bottling producing operation in the garage area that used to be used for police wagons. This sole bottling plant of The Frostie Company supplied all of the soda demand for Frostie Root Beer until demand increased beyond the capabilities of this plant.

Over the next decade Frostie Root Beer continued to grow and was being enjoyed in a majority of the states with the assistance of franchised bottlers. Soon Frostie was a national franchised beverage company. Although there are a few few bottlers who still produce Frostie Root Beer they vary in their use of sweeteners. Frostie Root Beer from Beverages Direct is made with pure cane sugar. Nothing but the best!

Brings back memories...
When we would go see my Great Grandmother, she would always have either Hires or Frostie root beer. She kept it on the cellar steps. It was always cold and smooth. Just open a bottle, close your eyes and take a sip. Ahhhhh, memories, who says you can't go back!

Great Taste!
Just as I remembered it as a kid, very smooth taste, not as cabonated as todays sodas. Great Root Beer taste.
