Fitz's Root Beer was first made and served in a drive-in in St. Louis in 1947 and became a local favorite. After disappearing for a period of time it was revived in 1993 using the same original recipe as always.
Fitz’s Root Beer has a strong, dark flavor that is strong in sassafras and wintergreen. There are plenty of other spices as well that surface after the initial contact. However, it is still very creamy from the rich vanilla. When poured it builds a short frothy head that lingers. This root beer has a vanilla and wintergreen after taste that leaves you wanting more!
