Capt'n Eli's Root Beer is made to accompany a graphic novel series called the Undersea Adventures of Capt’n Eli. The main protagonist, Eli, is a young boy genius with mysterious ties to the sea. One of his first inventions was a root beer brewing machine, and thus the root beer.
Capt'n Eli's Root Beer is sweet and creamy. The dominant flavors are vanilla, sassafras, and anise. Other spices surface after the initial contact. The head on this root beer is amazingly tall and frothy with vanilla and anise tasting foam. The after taste is a strong anise and vanilla flavor as well. Definitely a quality root beer.
