Waialua Soda Works brings back the “experience” of drinking soda pop through using natural, high quality ingredients in order to produce an exciting and lightly carbonated gourmet soda. Down to the glass bottle, Waialua Soda Works is a soda for the nostalgic soda fanatic, and individuals who favor to enjoy a purer soda pop. Founded in the year 2003 by Waialua residents Karen and Jason Campbell, Waialua Soda Works’ recipes are usually influenced by the elements common to the Hawaiian Islands. Reviving a community soda bottling tradition that goes back more than a hundred years, the company uses simply clear glass bottles, real cane sugar, and natural flavors to help to make its Waialua root beer, pineapple, mango and vanilla cream sodas. The products feature local ingredients such as Maui Brand natural white cane sugar, Big Island vanilla flavoring, and honey coming from the island of Kauai. Waialua Soda Works is owned and operated from a warehouse in the historic village of Waialua, situated on the popular North Shore of Oahu.
