Chef Gale Gand is a self-proclaimed root beer lover. While cooking in England she found it hard to locate root beers so she had to do without. When she got a little brown terrier she chose to name him Rootie (hence the "Oh Rootie" on the label).

Once back in the United States she decided to create her own special root beer to serve in her famous Chicagoland restaurant TRU. Gale's Root Beer is an enjoyable root beer with a cinnamon ginger vanilla flavor. She and Rootie know you will enjoy it!
